Physical Education and Health

At the National American School, our Physical Education and Health program follows a carefully designed curriculum tailored to support the overall well-being of our students. The physical education curriculum encourages students to engage in a wide range of sports and fitness activities, helping them develop physical skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude toward lifelong fitness. Our goal is to provide students with the tools and knowledge to maintain their physical health, stay active, and develop an appreciation for the importance of regular exercise.
In addition to physical education, our health education program is integrated into advising hours, where students learn about essential aspects of personal health and well-being. Through age-appropriate lessons, students are taught how to take care of their bodies, including proper hygiene, dental care, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We also cover important topics such as identifying "good touch" and "bad touch," equipping students with the awareness to protect themselves and understand boundaries.
The program also emphasizes the importance of speaking up and knowing how to report inappropriate behavior or any concerns they may have regarding their safety and well-being. Our goal is to create an environment where students feel supported and empowered to take care of themselves, seek help when needed, and understand the importance of both physical and emotional health.
Through this comprehensive approach, we aim to develop well-rounded individuals who are not only physically active but also knowledgeable about how to take care of their overall health in a safe and informed manner.
